
Our tenants pay by BACS ensuring that we collect direct from their accounts, these are checked daily. Regional Managers make collections in some cases to ensure payments are made by high Risk tenants. The tenant financial history is checked before specific payment methods are set up. This is one of the things that make us unique amongst letting agents in Yorkshire; In Doncaster local tenants even have the ability to pay at the Hub.
Should a tenant not pay on their due day they are allowed 3 days grace during which a phone call and letter is sent to remind them of their rental payment. After the 3rd day Regional Managers arrive at the door to ascertain why payment has not been made and/or collect payment. If this arises more than twice during the first 6 month AST then we would not renew their agreement unless there were extenuating circumstances.
Since 247 opened for business in 2005 we have built our folio up to manage more than 700 properties, and there are new ones arriving all the time. Our Landlords may have retired or sold their holdings in the natural course of the property business, but none has ever left through dissatisfaction with our service.
Tenants are equally happy with us. We know this because when they want to move areas or upgrade their accommodation they often wait a little longer than they need to just to stay with us.
247 has a wide range of client landlords from those with large portfolios (20-80 properties) to those with one or two. Some are local residents, some live half way round the world, but they all get a great service from us.
247 Property Services look after all types of properties ranging from luxury homes in lakeside and Bessacarr through suburban two and three–bed family homes to flats and studios in town. We can also boast 186 student-type rooms in shared houses around Doncaster town centre, all of which conform to government Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) regulations where necessary. These rooms traditionally have a high turnover rate but ours never stay empty for long.
Our contracts are very straightforward and keep you in control of your business.
